FAQ
What is Morsel?
Morsel is a high end, hybrid meal planning company owned and operated by Chef Megan Gajewski. We offer one service, our hybrid meal planning, that focuses on building a relationship with our clients through one meal, one day at a time. We only ask that you find recipes you love and groceries to build them, and we will do the rest.
Why Morsel?
Morsel cooks your meals and packages them seamlessly per your request of individual or family style. All you have to do is enjoy!
Who needs a personal chef?
Anyone who desires home-cooked meals from an experienced and professional chef will benefit from this service.
How often do I need this service?
We offer our service monthly, semimonthly, and weekly. Please choose which best fits your lifestyle.
I want a gluten-free, dairy-free option. I am also allergic to nuts. Is this something Morsel can accommodate?
Yes! Morsel is happy to cook any and all recipes one chooses. It is up to the client to keep certain items out of the home to ensure these items are avoided during meal preparation.
I live more than 10 miles from downtown Milwaukee. Will Morsel come to me?
Morsel operates out of downtown Milwaukee and will come to you if you are in the nearby vicinity. The hybrid meal planning service must be within 10 miles of Milwaukee proper.
What do I need to provide in my home?
Running hot and cold water, an operating refrigerator, freezer, stove, and oven, counter space, space in refrigerator and/or freezer. Proper ventilation in kitchen, fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector. This is for the health of the chef and food and non-negotiable.
Ideally, a home will also have pots and pans, a cutting board, small ware appliances, and certain handheld tools for cooking and baking purposes. The end result (meal) will reflect what a client owns or doesn’t own. Morsel will make product recommendations for client if he or she is so inclined. Please note for your particular service, certain items will be needed like glass containers for hybrid meal planning and extra cutting boards and sharpened knives for cooking classes. Chef Megan will inform as needed to make your service a success.
What does Morsel provide?
Morsel will provide a chef, personal tools, and a safe-working environment while on the job and in your home. Chef Megan will always respect your space and never go anywhere in home that is not needed to complete a task or accomplish the job.
How does Morsel work?
Morsel will come to your home, create a meal, then leave once clean-up is finished. You do not have to be in your home while meal preparation is underway; however, if you must be home, please arrive promptly to let Morsel inside. Also, any distractions during meal preparation may detract from end result.

I know that I want to use Morsel’s service. What next?
Great! We will have an initial consultation to determine if you and your home is ready for a personal chef. This typically takes place through email at which a new client form will be filled out. Please see Terms of Use for our payment process. Please note, we work for clients that require this service at least a week in advance and are willing to source recipes and purchase groceries. Morsel will complete the cooking and cleanup aspect of service. This format may not work for everyone, but it does allow Morsel to offer a lower cost per service. Several email exchanges may take place to determine perfect time and amount of meals/servings needed to satisfy client. Once that happens and payment has been sent, Chef Megan will book you and look forward to being your chef!
